Our Story

SF4A was set up by our founder Kieran Connolly in September 2016.

There was a lack of football coaching for young people not in organised football teams.

Kieran had previously worked for Millwall Community Scheme on the Kickz Programme at Downham Leisure Centre and then attended the gym a few years later and saw the astroturf was unused. Downham is one of the most deprived areas in London, with many young people who love football.

Sports Fun 4 started delivering two football projects at Bellingham Green and Downham Leisure Centre, funded through Lewisham Assembly Funding. Due to the success of both projects, they continued once the funding was finished. The Bellingham Green Project moved to Goldsmiths Community Centre, but after much success in the first few weeks, we outgrew this and moved to Forster Memorial Park in April 2017. In June 2017, we started our Sunday session and have run ever since.

Sports Fun 4 All - Football Session

My son’s been with SportsFun4All since 2016 and he absolutely loves it! Kieran is excellent with all the kids no matter what age.

My son loves going on Saturday to play football. He's always the first one up to get ready. I have definitely noticed a different in his social skills and discipline.

The dedicated and great support from the coaches, has enabled my son's confidence behind the ball to come on leaps and bounds within a matter of years.
