Job Advert – Football Coach

We are looking for football coaches with a passion for using football to engage young people. You will have high levels of integrity and maintain professionalism whilst building a solid rapport with young people. You will be a strong character who can maintain control and discipline of the session and the young people. You will be punctual, organised, reliable, and someone who takes pride and accountability in their presentation and work with young people. You don’t need to be an experienced high-level coach. The important thing is you can maintain a safe and positive environment where young people feel happy and can flourish. The days, times and locations are below:

  • Tuesday – 5.00pm – 7.00pm (Downham Health & Leisure Centre, BR1 5EP)
  • Wednesday – 5.00pm – 7.00pm (Bellingham Leisure Centre, SE6 3BT
  • Thursday – 5.00pm – 7.00pm (Downham Health & Leisure Centre, BR1 5EP)
  • Friday – 5.00pm – 7.00pm (Bellingham Leisure Centre, SE6 3BT)
  • Saturday – 10.00am – 12.00pm (Forster Memorial Park, Whitefoot Lane, SE6 1UA)
  • Sunday – 10.00am – 12.00pm (Forster Memorial Park, Whitefoot Lane, SE6 1UA)

The minimum requirements for the job are:

  • FA Level 1/Introduction to Coaching Football
  • Safeguarding Children
  • First Aid
  • You will be required to complete a DBS with a barred list for this role.
  • Pay is £15 per hour.
